Meet Dr. Boyce

I’m Dr. Boyce, a relational intelligence specialist grounded in trauma science and nervous system regulation, with over 20 years of experience supporting high-functioning individuals, couples, and families in building relational stability under pressure.

My work centers on how stress patterns shape connection. Together, we identify the relational dynamics that surface during conflict, performance demands, and life transitions and strengthen the internal regulation and relational capacities that support steadiness and repair.

I integrate evidence-based trauma treatment within a structured framework designed to translate emotional healing into relational intelligence. The goal is not simply insight. It is steadiness, clarity, and long-term resilience in your most important relationships.

These sessions focus on education, mind-body practices, and strategies for resilience, growth, and well-being. Depending on where you are located, your sessions may be referred to as therapy (New York & Delaware) or non-clinical healing-centered sessions (all other locations).

  • Trauma-informed therapy focuses on understanding, recognizing, and responding to the effects of trauma. It aims to help clients heal emotionally and regain control of their lives.

  • The content and approach are the same. The only distinction is in terminology:

    ·       New York and Delaware clients: Sessions may be referred to as therapy under Dr. Boyce’s license.

    ·       Clients outside those states: Sessions are referred to as healing-centered trauma-informed sessions.

  • If you are experiencing challenges such as anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, or the effects of past trauma, therapy may help you explore these concerns and develop tools to support your healing and growth.

  • Individuals, couples, parents, co-parents, and professionals experiencing unresolved trauma, anxiety, depression, or life challenges can benefit from working with Dr. Boyce.

  • Dr. Boyce is licensed as a mental health professional in New York and Delaware. Clients physically located in these states may refer to their sessions as therapy.

  • You can still work with Dr. Boyce. Your sessions will be offered as healing-centered trauma-informed sessions, which are non-clinical and focused on education, skill-building, mind-body practices, and strategies for resilience and growth.

  • Dr. Boyce integrates trauma-informed approaches, including support for relationship healing, emotional well-being, and navigating life transitions.

  • Yes. Couples therapy focuses on healing relationship trauma and enhancing emotional wellness. For parents and co-parents, sessions emphasize fostering healthy parenting practices and strengthening partnerships.

  • Group sessions provide a supportive environment for shared learning and healing.

  • Healing retreats are immersive, non-clinical experiences focused on emotional growth, resilience, and well-being.

  • No. Dr. Boyce does not accept insurance, and all services—whether in New York, Delaware, or elsewhere—are provided without diagnosis or insurance billing. This ensures care remains personalized, flexible, and confidential. To support accessibility, free resources such as worksheets, quizzes, and tools are also available to nurture resilience and growth.

  • Healing packages are structured programs designed to support ongoing trauma recovery and life transitions. They provide tailored solutions based on individual needs.

  • Therapy is customized. From the beginning, Dr. Boyce will work with you to understand your unique needs to determine the therapeutic plan.

  • Please cancel your appointment at least 48 hours in advance. You may reschedule your appointment based on availability.

  • Yes. Sessions are confidential, with the standard legal exceptions related to safety and mandated reporting.

  • We work in partnership. As you develop more tools and strategies, we will determine session frequency and make steps toward maintenance or healthy closure.

  • There is no obligation to continue therapy. You can stop at any time.
